George W. Hayward letters received, 1882 June 28 and 30.

Letters written to Hayward by Oran Follett, Sandusky, Ohio, and Lyman C. Draper, Madison, Wisconsin, in response to Hayward's invitation to attend the celebration of the semi-centennial of the City of Buffalo. Follett includes his memories of the village when he arrived in 1826; Draper writes of his grandfather, Job Hoisington, and his father, Luke Draper, and their experiences during the War of 1812.
